USGBC Winter Membership Meeting Fast Approaching

Anticipation is building for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council’s (USGBC’s) 23rd International Marketing Conference and 66th Annual Membership Meeting, held in Panama City, Panama on Feb. 11-13, as details continue to be unveiled about the event.

The Council is excited to announce that in celebration of Panama’s importance to global trade, the morning general session on Feb. 12 will be held on board a charter boat touring the Panama Canal, truly immersing attendees in the work discussed at the meeting.

The boat tour is a seven-hour excursion across the full width of the canal, passing through locks for a once-in-a-lifetime experience connecting meeting topics and real-world trade logistics. The charter is included in registration for USGBC members and can be added for spouses and guests for an additional fee.

The event will also set aside multiple blocks of time for Advisory Team (A-Team) sessions, a hallmark of Council meetings that invite producers, ethanol and agribusiness leaders to contribute their expertise to the organization’s overall strategies.

General sessions will feature presentations from USGBC staff highlighting recent market access successes and analyses of future export opportunities in various regions around the world. A full meeting agenda is available on the .

As always, attendees are welcome to add a spouse or guest to their registration and the Council has lined up exciting optional tour activities including a rum and coffee tasting and a guided tour of Panama Viejo.

Registration for the meeting is open now, and the deadline to reserve a hotel room with the Council’s discounted rate is Monday, Jan. 12.
