U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council’s Work Around The World Never Stops

The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) is a global organization with 10 offices around the world including its headquarters in Washington, D.C. Across the varying time zones and schedules of its offices, the Council is truly working nonstop on behalf of its membership in the U.S. agricultural industry.

On Monday, Global Update editors asked staff to send in photos from their day to show what is getting accomplished even as U.S. farmers are getting ready for bed or just grabbing their first cup of coffee.

In Tunisia, the Council’s regional office for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) was holding a weekly all-staff meeting to coordinate on upcoming projects before the sun had even risen on the East coast.

In the afternoon, the Council’s regional office in Panama City, Panama held a regular strategy call connecting staff based in the Western Hemisphere who design and execute programming for the region.

In Asia, the majority of the Council’s staff based there and U.S.-based staff focused on Asian programming gathered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for an annual summit discussing funding allocation for the Council’s work in the continent over the next year.
