Sadie Marks serves as manager of global strategies and trade for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS). In this capacity, she supervises the Council’s overseas offices’ through backstopping and supporting the offices with their market development programs, and provides trade servicing expertise to the Council, strengthens the Council’s relationships with U.S. and global traders and Council customers and end users worldwide.
Marks previously served as the Council’s global programs coordinator and manager of global programs before moving to her current position in February, 2023.
Prior to joining the Council, Marks worked in the dean’s office of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois while she earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural and consumer economics with a minor in international development.
