Mohamed Salah Bouthour serves as the deputy regional director – Africa of the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products worldwide. In this capacity, Bouthour directs regional market development activity throughout Africa, and is based in the Tunis, Tunisia office.

Bouthour was previously a marketing specialist in the Council’s Tunis office. Prior to the Council, Bouthour worked for S.G.S as a Business Manager for Agricultural and Minerals commodities and as a leader in inspection, analysis, control and certification, in Tunisia and Libya. In these capacities, he gained valuable knowledge of local grain suppliers and agribusiness exporters by inspecting their products and ensuring contractual specifications.

Bouthour holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from High Institute of Management, University of Tunis.
