Regional Programs Coordinator

Mauricio Molina Granados serves as the regional programs coordinator for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS).

In this capacity, he supports and coordinates logistical requirements for programming around the Latin American region.

Prior to the Council, Molina worked for the British Embassy in Colombia as the public diplomacy assistant. In this capacity, he coordinated the delivery of the Chevening Scholarship program in Colombia and supported the political counsellor, political secretary and the communications section. Molina also served at the Embassy as executive assistant to the British Ambassador, where he led on the management of the Ambassador’s agenda. Additionally, Molina served as events administrative assistant, co-coordinating the 2022 Queen’s Birthday Party and Platinum Jubilee celebration events.

Molina earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Universidad del Norte, where he graduated with honors.
