U.S. Grains Council (USGC) staff based in Mexico recently oversaw the implementation of a scalperator, donated by the Indiana Corn Marketing Council, to at a feed lot in Mexicali. The investment will help eliminate broken corn and foreign material (BCFM) before steam flaking and the feed lot is now feeding 71,000 cattle with U.S. corn.
