The U.S. Grains Council and the Illinois Corn Marketing Board recently wound up their four-part webinar series offered to help producers better understand grain and co-product supply and demand potential around the world. A webinar on March 24 covered corn and distiller’s dried grain with solubles (DDGS) demand in Southeast Asia and featured, from top to bottom, Caleb Wurth, USGC assistant director for Southeast Asia; Ellen Zimmerman, USGC director of industry relations; Cary Sifferath, USGC senior director of global programs; and Manuel Sanchez, USGC director for Southeast Asia. Other webinars focused on supply and demand in Mexico, top markets for U.S. ethanol, and hog herd rebuilding in China.
