Global Ethanol Summit Just Around The Corner

The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council’s (USGBC’s) Global Ethanol Summit (GES) is fast approaching, bringing together more than 400 producers, importers, government officials and other industry experts to lead the way on international biofuel advancement.

Registration for the meeting, scheduled to take place at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., from Sunday, Oct. 19 to Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, is still open.

“With more than 35 countries represented at GES 2025, attendees will enjoy a truly comprehensive overview of biofuel production, trade and implementation in current and emerging markets around the world,” said Alicia Koch, USGBC director of global ethanol export development.

“Online and on-site registration will be available throughout the event, so it’s not too late to get in on the action and engage with some of the most influential figures in the renewable energy sector.”

More than 70 expert speakers have been confirmed for the event, with keynotes including Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor, Renewable Fuels Association President and CEO Geoff Cooper and BASF Vice President of Market Management and Agricultural Solutions North America Neil Bentley.

In addition to the event’s general sessions and networking opportunities, participants will split into groups to tour key locations along the U.S. biofuel supply chain, beginning next week with four pre-conference teams and concluding with nine groups departing after the meeting.

Details about the groups’ experiences will be featured on the Council’s social media channels and future editions of Global Update.
