The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council’s office in Beijing recently hosted a booth at the Third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
The Third CISCE attracted 651 exhibitors from China and abroad, representing 75 countries, regions and international organizations. More than 65% of the exhibitors were Global Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders.
“Participating in CISCE reinforced the Council’s visibility and commitment in China’s agricultural and supply chain sectors. The meetings facilitated by CCPIT opened doors for deeper collaboration with both governmental and trade bodies,” said Linda Li, USGBC senior program coordinator.
“Our booth helped share U.S. agriculture’s position as a reliable, transparent and end-to-end supply solution for Chinese stakeholders.”
During the expo, staff met with key partners including the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), international grain traders, feed manufacturers, supply chain experts and potential customers.
The Council’s booth, themed “From America’s Heartland to China’s Value Chain,” told the comprehensive story of U.S. agriculture through immersive displays that traced products’ journeys from sustainable farming practices in the fields to harvesting, storage and efficient transportation networks to their final destinations in China.
The display featured interactive elements including dynamic infographics, videos and informative materials that highlighted the U.S. industry’s commitment to quality and reliability throughout the supply chain.
“Our team is extensively engaged with industry stakeholders and potential buyers, addressing technical inquiries and gathering valuable market intelligence while reinforcing the value proposition of U.S. grains in the Chinese market,” said Manuel Sanchez, USGBC director in China.
