Registration Open For Trade Policy Academy In Minnesota

The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) and National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) are excited to announce its next Trade Policy Academy will be held at the University of Minnesota Hormel Institute in Austin, MN.

The event is free to attend for anyone interested in learning more about trade policy and how it impacts operations and registration is now open.

“Trade Policy Academies play a critical role in equipping our members with the knowledge and confidence to engage in global markets and trade discussions,” said Ellen S. Zimmerman, USGBC director of industry relations.

“By strengthening understanding of trade policy and international dynamics, these programs empower farmers and industry leaders to advocate effectively, build meaningful partnerships and ensure our products remain competitive on the world stage. Trade education is not just an investment in individual leaders, it’s an investment in the long-term success of our entire industry.”

The session will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 18 with lunch provided.

Discussion topics will include trade policy updates, top market outlooks and how trade is important to farmers and the agriculture industries bottom line.

You can register for the event here and any additional questions can be directed to Zimmerman at ezimmerman@grains.org.
