Farhad Lashkary serves as the accounting coordinator for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that operates globally to promote the use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol. In this capacity, Lashkary will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timely processing of accounts payable and related activities, including USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS)–funded expenses, while assisting with compliance, documentation and internal control requirements across these processes.
Prior to joining the Council, Lashkary worked at Conservation International as a senior finance and operation coordinator where he managed financial records and reporting, ensured compliance with donor requirements and audit standards. He also supported budgeting and reconciliation processes, process financial transactions and vendor management.
Lashkary holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Rana University in Afghanistan.
