Samantha Redfern

Manager of Global Programs

Samantha Redfern serves as manager of global programs for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS). In the capacity, Redfern organizes and leads Council programming in Latin America.

Redfern joined the Council in 2024 as global ethanol program coordinator. Prior to joining the Council, Redfern received the Fulbright award as an English teaching assistant through the U.S. State Department in Saaremaa, Estonia, where she taught English and U.S. government courses. She also served as the regional program coordinator at the West Central Nebraska Development District where she assisted with grant programs and community economic development. 

Redfern holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
