Alexander Grabois

Deputy Regional Director

Alexander Grabois serves as the deputy regional director of Latin America for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. corn, barley, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS).

In this capacity, Grabois designs and executes market promotion, policy advisory and demand building programs for U.S. coarse grains and ethanol across the Latin America region.

Before  becoming deputy regional director, Grabois served as the manager of global strategies and trade in the Council’s D.C. office for four years. Prior to joining the Council, Grabois gained nearly a decade of experience as a trade representative for ProChile. He has also worked at the Chilean Consulate in New York City and for the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Grabois holds a master’s degree in public administration from Baruch College and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Seton Hall University.
