Last week, U.S. Grains Council (USGC) staff traveled to Belton, Texas, to hold another regional trade school event for 40 farmer members and stakeholders there. In addition to the Council, the event was sponsored by the National Corn Growers Association, Bell County Farm Bureau, Texas Corn Producers Board, Texas Grain Sorghum Board, National Sorghum Producers, Sorghum Checkoff and Capital Farm Credit. The event covered a variety of topics including the benefits of trade for U.S. grains, where trade stands today and fertilizer costs.
