In Colombia last week, U.S. Grains Council (USGC) Western Hemisphere Advisory Team Leader Jim O’Connor shared the corn production practices in place on his family’s farm in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. The presentation was a part of the Council’s 2021/2022 Corn Harvest Quality Report rollout event in the country. As corn harvest quality report presentations come to an end, the Council is preparing for a sister report to be released in early spring. The Corn Export Cargo Quality Report will measure corn quality at the point of loading for export.
